The Story Behind the Wine:

Founded in 1921 by Lorenzo Scavino and his son Paolo, the Paolo Scavino winery is nestled in Castiglione Falletto, within Italy's renowned Barolo region. Enrico Scavino, Paolo's son, began his winemaking journey at the age of 10 in 1951 and now leads the estate alongside his daughters, Enrica and Elisa, representing the fourth generation. 

The Langhe Bianco Sorriso, introduced in 2000, is a unique blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Viognier—a rare combination in the Langhe area. The grapes are sourced from estate vineyards in the Altenasso cru of Castiglione Falletto and the Bricco Manescotto cru of La Morra, with vines planted in 1997. Each varietal is fermented separately and aged for six months in stainless steel to preserve freshness.
